2020年，新冠疫情给世界带来了一场前所未有的挑战，时尚行业同样因此遭受重创。“纽约时装周中国日”作为集结中国当代设计力量，连接中国时尚与美国市场的全球性时尚活动，也在这个艰难的时期被打断。尽管面对很多问题与未知，我们仍然在此期间致力于为中国设计师与设计师品牌们寻找另一种在纽约时装周呈现他们新季设计的方式。作为美国时装设计师协会（CFDA）的战略合作伙伴和纽约时装周的官方合作伙伴，迅驰时尚也积极加入CFDA推出的数字时装平台Runway360，开展“中国日”数字时装周（NYFW China Day - Digital Fashion Week），并于2020年9月初在考虑防疫要求的情况下在上海举办了面向时尚业内人士的小型线下交流会。
The Challenges we are all experiencing truly are unprecedented in 2020 because of the COVID-19. The fashion business has been hit very hard. As a global fashion event for concentrating the power of Chinese contemporary design and connecting Chinese fashion to the US market, NYFW China Day was interrupted during this difficult time. We are still faced with many questions and even more unknowns, but we are constantly looking for the other way for Chinese designers and brands to present their latest collections on the stage of New York Fashion Week. As the strategic partner of CFDA and an official partner of NYFW, we were happy to join the innovative digital platform Runway360 – launched by CFDA, hosted NYFW China Day Digital Fashion Week. A small-scale offline workshop for fashion industry insiders held in Shanghai in early September 2020 in compliance with the pandemic prevention requirements.
